If you’re anything like me, your playlist can make or break your workout. I’m really picky about what music I listen to while working out. It needs to have a strong beat, but can’t be TOO overwhelming. It needs to make me feel like I can bust a move at any point, and generally needs to put me in a good mood.
Essentially, my workout playlist needs to make me feel like I’m in the club. Because let’s face it, listening to good music at the gym is about as close as I get to the club these days. #late20s #oldmillennial
All jokes aside, music can be an incredible mood booster and can really help motivate you to get moving when you just aren’t feeling it. I like making go-to playlists when I’m moving slow to get me moving and grooving. By the time the first song is over, I’m usually feeling more energized and ready to hop to it.
